preparation + aftercare instructions

before your tan.

Please complete ALL other beauty services at least 24 hours prior to your tan. These services include manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, eyelash extensions/lifts, etc. Your spray tan should be the last stop!

Shower, shave and exfoliate at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. Avoid using a razor with a moisture strip. Be sure to stay hydrated (water and lotion) in the days leading up to your appointment.

PLEASE AVOID DOVE SOAPS!!!!

Try to avoid wearing any deodorant, lotion or make up to your session. We understand sometimes these are musts when you have late evening appointments, so we will provide wipes to remove makeup/deodorant.

Wear dark, loose fitting clothing to your appointment. You may wear whatever is comfortable to you DURING your tan (undergarments, bathing suits, topless/nude) We require anyone under 18 to wear at minimum of a thong and pasties. (Pasties are provided by me)

after your tan.

You will be instructed on a time frame to rinse your tan at the appointment. Depending on the solution you choose this could be in as little as 2 hours or as long as overnight.

Do NOT touch your tan - this can lead to “spray tan hands”

For your first shower post-tan, use luke warm water and NO SOAP to rinse the bronzer off. Use your hand to gentle wipe the water down your body until the water runs clear (no more bronzer). Don’t fret! This is not washing your spray tan off! Do not rub your skin when you dry off, BLOT with a towel.

Your tan will look lighter after your first rinse, this is common. You will continue to develop for 24 hours after your appointment.

Please try to wait 20-24 hours after your APPOINTMENT to shower with soap. Moisturize morning and night to help prolong your tan!

Avoid the ocean, hot tubs and pools. If these are necessary be sure to rinse your body off after you get out of the ocean/sand, and try to limit your hot tub/pool sessions as this will fade/strip your tan.

Please do NOT use Dove or Olay products after your tan (or any products that contain alcohol or oils). I have a list of spray tan friendly aftercare products upon your request.
